Process for Fixing of Wall Papers
Wall paper is actually a material which is used to cover up and beautify the interior walls of homes, offices and other buildings. It is sold in rolls and is put onto walls with wallpaper paste. Wallpaper began as an inexpensive substitute for paneling and tapestries which are also used to glue rice paper for the purpose of the same.
The process for fixing of wall papers is basically a process for fixing the wallpaper to a wall insulation board or film of a foamed organic polymer, comprising the steps of providing a layer of wall insulation. The insulation board or film which comprises a foamed organic polymer; provides a layer of wallpaper; applying to the surface of either the layer of wall insulation or the layer of wallpaper a coating of an adhesive composition suitable for bonding the layers together. In this, the adhesive composition comprises an amount of a flame retardant agent sufficient to render the adhesive composition flame retardant; and bonding the layer of wallpaper to the layer of wall insulation which in turns fixes the wallpaper into the board or film.
